Allergies
The word allergy means “altered working”. If you suffer from them as Carole did for many years they can cause havoc in your life. Allergies are responses mounted by the immune system to a particular food, inhalant or chemical. In, a simplified sense, an allergic reaction is an adverse or inappropriately amplified immune system response to something many people other people find harmless. An allergic reaction can express itself as a headache or fatigue and may include sneezing, watery eyes or nose and nasal congestion. More severe allergic reactions are these known as anaphylaxis and are charecterised by the swelling of tissues and the inability to breathe. These reactions may need to be treated as serious medical emergencies.
Many health conditions have an allergic component and can manifest in many organs, causing systemic effects:
• Respiratory- asthma, bronchitis, hay fever, sinusitis.
• Skin- eczema, hives, rash, acne
• Digestive- celiac disease, colitis, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut syndrome, bladder infection
• Other- ADHD, ear infection, chronic fatigue syndrome, anaphylactic shock
Why are some people allergic and others not? It all goes back to genetics and system overload. We can all carry a certain burden without our backs giving way and collapsing. So allergy avoidance to some degree is reducing that total load. This is the main reason Blood Type Diet is so effective against allergies. It removes a great deal of the burden you carry, allowing you to support the weight of environmental burdens more easily
